Felipe Silva- Founder and Director
Felipe is from Presidente Prudente, Sao Paulo, Brazil. he graduated in 2012 from Nortwestern College in Orange City Iowa, with a Religion major and a Sociology minor. He is married to Janelle Silva and they love to travel and learn about different cultures and try all kinds of new food. Being outdoors is one of his passions, more specifically rock climbing and mountain biking. He strongly believs in Christian Community Developmen, which led to his dream of opening a rock climbing gym in the Jiu Valley. He loves taking the kids outdoor climbing, to competitions, and seeing their daily progress in climbing and in everyday life skills. Felipe is energetic, outgoing, courageous, and funny.
Janelle Silva- Administrator
Janelle is from Wainfleet, Ontario, Canada. She graduated in 2011 from Northwestern College in Orange City Iowa, with a Social Work degree. During her college tim she was involved with the Residence Live program for three years. She has spent much time abroad and loves to travel; she believes that culture is a rich way for one to learn about themselves, God, and the world. She married Felipe Silva in the summer of 2010 and after coming to Romania in February 2014 they adopted a street dog named Zacusca. Since then they have adopted another street dog, Lua, and have a beautiful little baby boy, Luca! Janelle loves rock climbing, being outdoors, and eating ethnic food.
